"We are delighted that our partnership with The Touring Consortium Theatre Company will play a vital role in helping to bring high quality and accessible theatre productions to venues across the country, and that our co-production, of the world premiere stage version of To Sir, With Love, launches this initiative. Audiences can expect high drama, along with music and dance from the post-war era, and the production involves local young people at each venue. We’re working on a number of projects to engage with the communities and schools local to the venues, and developing a range of workshops and resources for teachers to use. Theatre Cloud is going to provide a great way for the producing theatres and touring venues to share resources and ideas, and for audiences to interact and engage, helping, we hope, to develop a wider theatre community across the country."Martin Sutherland, Chief Executive, Royal & Derngate
